band member biography
They were founded by
the twins Dennis and David Janglöv in Stockholm, Sweden 2007, right
after they graduated with honors
from the world famous GIT ( Guitar Institute of Technoligy). The band
consist of six members. Dennis and David Janglöv (guitar ), Andreas
Larsson (vocals), Fredrik Hammar (bass) Uno Eriksson (drums) and Nicko
Dimarino (keyboard ).
The goal was to start
a band which would have all the classic Heavy Metal elements from band
such as Iron Maiden,
Judas Priest,
Helloween, Sonata artica,
Accept and show the true face
of the Heavy/ Power Metal genre.
The band has released two EPs (
Twins Crew 2008 and Twin
Demon 2009) and three albums (
Judgement Night 2011 ,
The Northern Crusade 2013,
Veni, Vidi, Vici 2016 ).
The first tour outside sweden took place in Germany and Austria 2009 and
they've also opened for band such as
Paul Dianno ( ex Iron Maiden)
and Loudness
from Japan. They've
also played on Sweden's biggest indoor festival
House of Metal 2010,
Skogsröjet 2014 and
Sabaton Open Air 2014.
Twins Crews newest album Veni,
Vidi, Vici was recorded in Deep blue Studios in Nyköping, Sweden.
Veni, Vidi, Vici is a Latin phrase popularly attributed to
Julius Caesar, who supposedly used the phrase after he had achieved
a quick victory in his short war against Pharnaces II of Pontus at the
Battle of Zela. It simply translate 'I came, I saw, I conquered'
The album artwork is
designed in a Roman Empire theme and is made by Mattias Norén (
Kamelot, Sabaton,
Lost Horizon,
Evergray ) at Progart.
The mastering is made by Mike Lind at Masterplant (Body
Count, DIO,
The Poodles).
Twins Crew believes that the New Testament in the book of heavy metal is
yet to be written and we would be loud and proud to be a part of it.
